Jennifer Berman

Training and Partnership Officer, Garfield Foundation

Jennifer has spent her career engaged in social justice work. Following her training as a community organiser, she’s an organiser, convener, facilitator, and coach. Her day-to-day work includes supporting social change leaders to further develop their systemic practice, connecting and conspiring with network practitioners, facilitators, and consultants, and supporting various communities of practice.

She has been working with the School of System Change as a strategic partner and facilitator since 2018 and is currently co-developing the School’s US strategy, which includes facilitating Basecamp, building a pipeline of facilitators, and exploring learning offers for emerging social change leaders here in the US.  When Jennifer isn’t working, she’s hanging out with her two kids, trying to fit in some exercise, time to read, or time in the mountains.

“Basecamp opens us all up to new ways of seeing and being in the world and is an incredible learning community for participants, facilitators and contributors.  I love supporting participants through this journey and seeing the subtle and not-so-subtle changes that occur over the course of six months.”
