As an analyst with the Evaluation and Learning and Strategy Office teams at the Skoll Foundation, Gurpreet contributes to the Foundation’s understanding of the systems in which its grantees intervene, and supports ongoing learning & adaptation. Prior to joining the Skoll Foundation, Gurpreet contributed to the Evaluation and Learning and Organizational Effectiveness teams at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation as well as to multiple non-profit organizations and government agencies. An explorer at heart, he enjoys diving into new books, music, cuisines, urban and outdoor adventures, and more. He is thoroughly enjoying his journey through life, while attempting to fulfill his obligations to the community of life on Earth that makes his journey possible.

The Five Capitals - a framework for sustainability

The Five Capitals Model provides a basis for understanding sustainability in terms of the economic concept of wealth creation or ‘capital’. Any organisation will use five types of capital to deliver its products or services.
