Robin Pho, Founder and CEO of Right People Renewable Energy (RPRE)

Robin Pho is the founder and CEO of Right People Renewable Energy (RPRE) which specialises in helping commercial and industrial clients switch from fossil fuels to clean renewable solar energy. RPRE serves primarily off-grid projects in remote locations across Indonesia.

RPRE is a certified B Corp and believes that every business can be a force for good. They focus on a triple bottom line; people, planet, profit. Every project is measured for the impact created. RPRE is also a registered social enterprise with Singapore’s Centre for Social Enterprises (raiSE).

RPRE has won numerous awards including Energy Storage Project of the Year in 2019, for their North Sulawesi dive resort project - the largest solar and battery project for a dive resort in Indonesia. RPRE was also awarded the Enabling Employers Award for inclusive hiring of persons with disabilities, the FBN Lombard Odier NxGen Award, the Singapore Apex Corporate Sustainability Award, and the INSEAD Business as a Force for Good Award.

Robin is a certified member of MENSA, graduated from the Singapore Management University (SMU) with double majors in marketing and law, and has an Executive Diploma in Directorship from the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID). He attained his certification as a Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) professional in 2017, and later graduated with a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD where he was awarded the INSEAD Scholarship of Excellence.

He is also long-time member of the Family Business Network Asia (FBNA), where he serves on the Board of Directors and chairs the Family Business as a Force For Good (FBFFG) working committee. He also serves on the Asia Board of Trustees for Forum for the Future, a global non-profit organization.


K. Sadashiv, Sustainability Mentor

Sada has over 40 years of work experience with a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (IIT, Madras) and MBA qualifications (IIM, Bangalore). After retiring in 2018 as a Partner and Managing Director (ASEAN) of Ernst & Young’s (EY) Singapore, Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice, Sada is now a Trustee/Director of Forum for the Future Asia Pacific - a leading international sustainability non-profit, advising on strategy. He is also an Associate Director at Tembusu Asia Consulting, Singapore in a non-executive advisory capacity.

He has also qualified as an International Arbitrator from NUS Law School Singapore, and in addition was an Accredited Associate Mediator of Singapore Mediation Centre.  He is an OHSAS 18001 Certified Auditor on Occupational Health and Safety and an ISO14064 Certified Greenhouse Gas Lead Auditor.

For several years Sada was the advisor to the Singapore Environmental Council (SEC) for their Singapore Environmental Achievement Awards. In 2018 Sada was awarded the Quality Award at Enterprise Singapore’s Quality & Awards Conference 2018 for contribution to the GHG Standards Committee. As a young manager, Sada won the All India Management Association’s Best Young Manager National Award in 1984.

While at EY, Sada was advising clients ranging from large transnational corporations to SMEs across industry sectors in ASEAN, on climate change, environmental and social impact, and disclosures.

Previous to setting up the sustainability practice in 2009 for EY, Sada specialised in commercial advisory services focusing on strategic analysis/strategy formulation, policy and regulation, and commercial due diligence in an M&A context.

A frequently invited speaker and trainer, he shares his experience and insights at numerous seminars, interviews on broadcast media, panel discussions and presentations. In addition, he has lectured as adjunct at NTU’s Nanyang Business School on Sustainability: Issues, Reporting & Finance. 

A father of 2 daughters, he and his wife are weekend volunteer religious counsellors for Hindu inmates at the Singapore Prisons at Changi.
