Joint Managing Director - UK/Europe

Background

I sit within Forum’s Climate Change Challenge Lab, having worked on a wide range of collaborative projects and corporate partnerships during my time at Forum. My current portfolio includes PowerPaired - an innovative digital platform matching asset owners with community energy groups, and Reusable Buildings & Components –  an emerging alliance looking to develop the demand-side business models that encourage the widespread uptake of circular building solutions by property clients. I have also worked with numerous built environment businesses around the world – both suppliers and procurers of built assets In many cases, this has been to help develop their sustainability strategies, using futures techniques, systems thinking and stakeholder engagement.

I joined Forum in 2005 after seven years at CIRIA where he had responsibility for the delivery of a portfolio of research and implementation projects related to sustainable construction. During his time at CIRIA, I was manager of a nationwide network engaging practitioners in the development and promotion of good practice related to sustainable construction. I have a BSc in Geography and an MSc in European Policy and Regulation from Lancaster University.
