Our focus Energy JustRE: The Global South Alliance for a Just Transition to Renewable Energy Enabling Practitioners from the Global South to Ensure the Transition to RE is Just Forum for the Future and other Responsible Energy Initiative partners are core members of JustRE, an Alliance championing socially responsible renewable energy implementation with meaningful participation and benefits for communities across the globe. JustRE is an inclusive and expansive network that seeks to amplify voices and strengthen the Global South ecosystem affected by and concerned with the phasing in of utility-scale renewable energy. The Alliance’s mission is to serve as a strategic and learning platform for multiple stakeholders— including communities, civil society organisations, governments, and the private sector—working towards socially responsible renewable energy deployment. Provide valuable insights, tools and support to communities. Support the network members to connect, influence and amplify their work.
