Senior Fundraising and Development Manager

Background

A homoepathic doctor by training and a finance management specialist by further training, I am a generalist with no clear narrative in life except that I enjoy bridging needs and offering to fit pieces together in a way that the whole is more than the sum of its parts. I enjoy story-telling and building relationships that can advance shared goals.

As a development professional, my role is focused on aligning philanthropic goals with societal needs. In the past decade, I have worked with an international, Nobel award-winning medical-humanitarian organisation and the world’s largest conservation organization. Before Forum, I worked with The Nature Conservancy where I was responsible for designing and implementing the India Fundraising strategy, which included curating a philanthropic trustees board and their stewardship, managing high profile visits and events, and building a robust pipeline. I am excited to be here and be a part of the efforts that will help bring in the resources to accelerate Forum’s impact.

My dream project

My dream project is building an orphanage for girls.

What floats my boat outside work?

Reading, dancing, and cooking are a few of my favourite things.
