Background

I joined Forum in August 2021 as Digital Manager. Prior to Forum, I spent many years working at the intersection of sustainable development and strategic communications. As part of Intellecap, a development sector research and consulting firm, I worked on building and executing communication strategies for a range of development programs focusing on climate action, agriculture, gender and financial inclusivity in South and South East Asia, East Africa and Europe. I also worked on digital marketing for Sankalp Forum, one of the world's leading networking and learning events for impact investors and social entrepreneurs. Fresh out of college, I spent two years working as one of AIESEC's national exchange program directors in India and the United States.

Dream project

I deeply believe in the power of simple, yet impactful communication. My dream project would be to simplify the world's most complex and pressing development challenges and present it in a remarkable manner to the masses. Sustainable development and future of planet is not a narrative that is reserved for a chosen few. It is something that urgently needs to be mainstreamed and I would love to play a part in that movement.

What floats my boat outside work

I like to spend hours doodling and designing while listening to my favorite podcasts. I'm a big fan of all things non-fiction, so I indulge in documentaries, biographies and history books. Since I am based in India, exploring the diversity of the land by means of traveling is always fun for me. I also like cooking Indian and Italian food and baking citrus desserts.

Scaling renewable energy offers affordable, reliable energy and fights climate change. However, unregulated deployment may bring environmental, social, and human rights issues. We collaborate with energy change actors to co-create a vision and principles for socially equitable and environmentally responsible renewable energy.

The Five Capitals - a framework for sustainability

The Five Capitals Model provides a basis for understanding sustainability in terms of the economic concept of wealth creation or ‘capital’. Any organisation will use five types of capital to deliver its products or services.
