Forum for the Future was founded in the UK in 1996 and today we have grown to an international organisation of 80 change makers situated across four offices: London, New York, Singapore and Mumbai.

Sustainability requires a global perspective and we have worked in projects worldwide - from Argentina, Spain, New Zealand and Ghana to China, Russia, Japan, Nepal and Sri Lanka - our work has spanned the globe.

The Five Capitals Model provides a basis for understanding sustainability in terms of the economic concept of wealth creation or ‘capital’. Any organisation will use five types of capital to deliver its products or services.
