There are no roles that suit my experience at the moment – can I send you my CV for future roles?

Due to GDPR regulations and our concerted efforts to optimise the use of our limited resources, we are not able to accept speculative enquiries, or hold onto your CV/resume for future roles. If you wish to hear about the latest vacancies here at Forum, please subscribe to our Job Mailing List, located at the bottom of our jobs page.

What's Forum's recruitment process?

We use the Applied platform because it is designed to reduce bias in our recruitment process. To apply for this job, we ask you to answer a few work-based questions. Your answers will be randomised and anonymously scored by members of Forum’s selection panel. Our initial selection is based on how you answer these questions, rather than looking at your CV. Candidates with the top scoring answers will be invited to a structured interview where you get to meet some of the team. At the interview stage you will be asked questions that reflect the role and also to complete a work-based task, so you have the chance to demonstrate your skills.

The Applied platform includes instructions on how to use the portal. Once you start your application you will be presented with a dashboard which helps you to track your progress and reminds you of the closing date for the application. As you complete sections you can draft and save your responses to review and submit when you are ready to (as long as you’re within our required application deadline).

I’m likely to be away during the interview stage – should I apply?

Yes! During the interview process, we aim to be as flexible as possible. Where necessary, we will look to accommodate requests to interview via video call, and can look to change interview days dependent on the interviewing panel’s availability. Unfortunately, in the scenario that you are unavailable for a long time after the initially proposed interview date, we are unable to put the recruitment process on hold until your return so as not to disadvantage other candidates.

How many interviews will there be for this position?

Depending on the role, there will usually be two to three interviews for the position, including an initial 20 minute telephone screening call. For some roles, to assess your skills and abilities, the interview may require a task, which you will need to complete either before the interview or on the day. You will always be told about a task in advance of the interview. Our interviews are designed in a way that we invest the time to get to know your skills, capabilities and motivation for the role, as well as giving you ample opportunity to find out more about the work that we do at Forum, and to decide whether we would be a good fit for you.
