Head of School of System Change

I head the School of system change, an exciting new international learning experience and community of practice, catalysed by Forum for the Future. The challenges we face on the road to a sustainable future are complex and interconnected. The School aims to navigate this complexity, significantly increase the number of people able to implement systems-level change across the board, whether they be working in corporate, not-for-profit or public organisations. I’m interested in how we can embody systemic change in this multi-stakeholder adventure, to offer an innovative peer-to-peer learning experience, founded on reflective practice and real-life challenges.

I come from the social enterprise world, where governance and collaboration are at the heart of driving impact for positive change. As founding CEO of a resource centre for social enterprise and ethical business in the Paris region, L’Atelier, I brought local authorities, professional bodies, advisory services, funding partners, and confirmed and budding social entrepreneurs together to design new ways of doing business. I have more recently been working freelance with public and private organisations taking a systems approach to sustainable development, using collective intelligence tools and the framework of the symbiotic economy. On the learning side, I do some teaching on the Design Innovation Societe Masters course at Nimes university, and am strategy advisor to L'institut des futurs souhaitables - a quirky organisation who deliver a brilliant futures course for French makers, thinkers and decision-makers.

Out of work I enjoy helping my partner with his small organic vineyard in the South of France, long hill walks, and swimming in rivers.
