System Change Project Manager

I work in the EU Create team as Systems Change Project Manager, managing a portfolio of our large and complex global collaborative projects.  My main projects include Protein Challenge 2040  and Cotton 2040, but I also work across other areas in our 1.5 degree, Sustainable Nutrition and Value Chains & Livelihoods challenge labs.

I lead on stakeholder management across projects' internal and external teams; logistics and process design & facilitation in the work areas; and ensuring governance and internal processes are aligned. I have extensive events management experience and have chaired our Project Management community of practice - developing project management excellence across the global organisation.

I graduated in 2008 with a degree in Environmental Earth Science from the University East Anglia. The main focus of my degree was Geology though I pursued Climate Change and Environmental options where possible with my dissertation subject being the effect of sea level rise on the population of East Anglia. Prior to Forum, I worked in housing - taking on a variety of roles within an RSL with a view on sustainability and interest in retrofit.  Before that I worked in customer services and the hospitality sectors.

What floats my boat outside of work?

Outside of work you will likely find me undertaking a variety of sporting pursuits including participating in marathon running, triathlons, netball, open water swimming & cycling. I am a keen stand-up comedy and live music fan, and enjoy trying to build up my vinyl collection. I love travel and try and combine live music, sport and travel where possible!
