Finance Officer

Salary: £24,507 - £27,189 (depending on experience, per annum pro rata)

Hours: part-time contract 24 hours a week (ideally to be spread across 4 – 5 days a week)

Contract: Permanent

About the role

This role will suit someone very well organised and thorough, who is curious and interested in Forum’s sustainability work. You will be responsible for all aspects of sales ledger for our UK, US, India and Singapore offices, as well as you will support purchase ledger function by processing staff expenses and credit card transactions. This will give you an opportunity to develop your skills in both sales and purchase ledger functions in a multi-national set up. Reporting to the Global Financial Controller, you will work alongside another Finance Officer within a larger international resources team. 

About you

You have experience working in purchase and/or sales ledger functions and using accounting software (familiarity with Financial Force would be an advantage). You have excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to engage with our colleagues across nations, as well as to effectively follow through with our customers to ensure payments are made within the contract terms. You take pride in delivering quality work, you can multi-task and are able to use your own initiative and work independently.
