People leading change initiatives are facing mounting pressure due to several factors: the awareness that we are approaching planetary thresholds and the need for profound transformation, the increasing disruptions caused by climate change-related natural disasters, and signs of growing polarization and geopolitical instability—all while still needing to lead in achieving transformational goals and targets.

It's challenging to sustain momentum while navigating this uncertainty and facing headwinds. According to a recent global survey of nearly 1,500 C-suite executives conducted by The Harris Poll for Google Cloud, more than two-thirds (78%) of executives state that the uncertain economic climate is compelling their organizations to achieve better sustainability results with fewer funds. Additionally, almost half (45%) believe that the current economic climate is causing a regression in sustainability efforts.

This session is designed for individuals at the helm of change initiatives as well as those gearing up to take stock of their sustainability strategies in 2024 to ensure they are future-fit ahead of 2030. If you lead transformational initiatives and are holding questions on how to lead through disruption, then our Explore Futures session will provide insight on how organisations are using foresight to navigate uncertainty.
