Background

I joined Forum for the Future in January 2018 as a Coordinator in the US Office. In this role, I support the growth of work out of our Brooklyn office and collaborate on global projects. I am enthusiastic to bring my endless curiosity and desire for redesigning the fashion industry to be a force for good to Forum.  I grew up in New Delhi, India before moving to rural Connecticut where I attended the Hotchkiss School. In 2016, I graduated Georgetown University cum laude with an honors BA in Economics. I focused my coursework on development economics and social impact & innovation.  Prior to Forum, I worked at Bloomingdale’s as a buyer and financial planner in their executive development program and co-founded a sustainability working group. I am currently earning a master’s in Sustainable Fashion at Glasgow Caledonian NYC in partnership with the Fair Fashion Center and writing my dissertation on the Financial ROI of Sustainability.

My dream project?

I believe that the fashion industry can become a model of social and environmental responsibility and I am working to prove the business case for sustainability.  My dream project would be to lead a collaboration where multiple industry actors adopted a new & disruptive business model centered around ESG to turn global issues into an industry opportunity and redesign the system to be more human centric.

What floats my boat outside of work?

Running, exploring different New York neighborhoods, and traveling to remote corners of the globe. So far, I've explored 56 countries- recent favorite include Cambodia, hiking the Inca Trail, and exploring Israel's Ein Gedi. On an average weeknight, you can either find me in class, at a talk hosted by a Feminist thought leader, or playing with my French Bulldog!
