About the role We are looking for a results-oriented Development Manager to drive our fundraising efforts and help us achieve greatest impact in the world. Reporting to the Chief Development and Communications Officer, you will work closely with our programme teams around the world to secure funding for dynamic projects addressing some of the world’s most critical challenges, maintain strong relationships with our existing funders, build a new major gift programme, and lead the development of our fundraising processes and systems. Who we’re looking for You will succeed in this role, if you have: substantial fundraising experience in an international organisation. a significant track record of securing six-figure grants from trusts and foundations, and donations from high net worth individual donors, ideally with exposure to funders in a range of markets, including the UK and the US. demonstrable experience of setting and monitoring income, expenditure budgets and providing detailed financial analysis. experience in establishing and managing relationship management systems (CRMs) to drive fundraising success. exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to compose and deliver timely and comprehensive proposals for funding and to report on existing grants. ability to network at a senior level. are highly organised, able to juggle multiple priorities and work independently. ideally, have an understanding of sustainability and a demonstrated commitment to the work of Forum for the Future.
