We believe that sustainable development is the big idea for the 21st Century. All our work centres around this.

What could a sustainable future look like? We develop visions and scenarios for different areas of business and society.

How will we get there? We identify the changes that need to be made in key sectors such as the built environment, retail, transport, tourism and finance. We work in partnership with leading businesses and organisations in these sectors, with the long-term goal of transforming each sector.

Who do we work with? We work with today’s leaders – individuals and organisations - in business and government. We provide them with expert guidance and support as well as practical training for sustainability. We also train the leaders of tomorrow: we run a groundbreaking Masters in Leadership for Sustainable Development.

How can we accelerate change? These are exciting times as sustainability nears the mainstream. It’s vital to share successes and lessons learnt – there’s no time to reinvent the wheel. We share news and insights via our website, events and reports. We also publish Green Futures Magazine, the leading source of information, news, opinion and debate on sustainability.
