Project Co-ordinator
As administrators, we get to be involved in a whole range of Forum's projects. Since starting I've been involved in some really interesting projects. I’m currently working on the Sustainable Shipping Initiative along with all of Forum's Network events.
I joined Forum in early Summer of 2011 and moved to London the day before I began. Previously I had been studying/working/living for the past 6 years in Bristol in a variety of different roles, most recently interning with Oxfam and FRANK water projects. As much as I love Bristol, I thought I would try my hand in London, took the plunge and haven't looked back. Although not specifically from a sustainable development background, after hearing Jonathon Porritt speak at Liverpool University, I really wanted to get more involved within sustainability and landed a job with Forum, so a plan of mine has finally come together!
What floats my boat outside work?
I’m a pretty keen sportsman and an avid cyclist. I try to do a triathlon once a year so that often keeps me busy. I've been lucky enough to have travelled extensively around Eastern Europe, Central and South America, spending a few months in Colombia practising my Spanish skills along the way. I'm always keen to explore London by foot or bike, and whenever I can I get myself down to the west country.
