I’m one of the project co-ordinators and work across Forum’s Network & project teams, helping run all of our great events around the world and making sure that our partners and members get the most out of their partnership. I also run our webinar programme which helps to reach our more distant partners and creates a truly global dialogue. I work on our big multi stakeholder projects like the Sustainable Shipping Initiative, trying to create tangible outcomes to the problems within the industry.
Previous to Forum I lived in Bristol where I had been studying/working/living for 6 years in a variety of different roles, anything from teaching innovative and exciting science workshops in primary schools, to helping Oxfam with their corporate fundraising. In the midst of this I was lucky enough to work with FRANK water projects – which really ignited a passion for sustainable development and made me want to learn as much as I could – a position came up at Forum and I haven’t looked back.
What floats my boat outside work?
I’m a pretty keen sportsman and an avid cyclist. I try to do a triathlon once a year so that often keeps me busy. I've been lucky enough to have travelled extensively around Eastern Europe, Central and South America, spending a few months in Colombia practising my Spanish skills along the way. I love discovering new types of music. I'm always keen to explore London by foot or bike, and whenever I can I get myself back to the West Country.
