Insider Voices - Human dimensions of low-carbon technology

14-15 July 2009
Bailbrook House Hotel, Bath

Climate change is serious, real and happening now. Everybody is talking about a low-carbon future, but what does it take to get there? This conference will focus on the critical roles people play in the changing technological landscape and what we can do to create favourable conditions for change.

This conference will shed light on the insider experiences
of nine low-carbon technology initiatives involved in the
groundbreaking three year Lowcarbonworks action
research project.

The research team will offer fresh, practical insights on
what works and what doesn’t in practice; what enables and
obstructs the adoption of new low-carbon technology; and
what it takes for change to happen.

There will also be plenty of time for lively interaction around
sharing experiences, café-style discussion and large group
brainstorming.
