India: Innovation Nation

India is fast emerging as a global powerhouse economy. Its leading companies are major players on the world stage, and with its vast number of graduates, the country’s ideally placed to drive the sunrise industries of the 21st century. But meanwhile, it still faces major social and environmental challenges – from pollution and water depletion to the growing threat of climate change.

India has both the need to tackle such challenges for its own survival – and the opportunity to sustain its economic resurgence by doing so. This magazine celebrates India’s success stories in sustainable innovation including green energy, clean technology, smart cities, sustainable food and water supplies and encourages them to be scaled up across the country and worldwide.

Many thanks to our funding partners for their support and expertise:

Green Futures is... a truly inspiring read. To see all of the great ideas out there is a great contrast to the doom and gloom we hear in the media.
