Iceland freezes out more GM foods
Supermarket chain Iceland
(01244 830100; www.iceland.co.uk) has taken further steps towards its GM-free goal by announcing plans to ban all GM feed given to the livestock that go into its products. It follows CEO Malcolm Walker’s public crusade against GMOs.
Walker was profiled in our last issue. Sadly, a production error meant we published a photo of an Iceland colleague, not Walker himself. Many apologies!
