Eco cleaners bust limescale best, says ‘Which’

If you ever had any niggling doubts about switching to ecological cleaning products, then fret no more. A new report by consumer bible Which? has confirmed that, far from compromising on performance, eco-friendly limescale removers actually outstrip their chemical-based competitors.

Top of the pile was celebrity chef Anthony Worrall Thompson’s Fresh and Green Bathroom Cleaner and Limescale Remover for £1,99, just ahead of Ecover’s £2.99 offer. They scored a resounding 91% and 89% respectively, whereas market leaders Viakal and Cillit Bang could not even muster 50%, while Flash came out at 56%.

And if you thought environmental credentials meant an easy ride from the judges you’d be wrong - results were based squarely on performance, ease of use, cost per use, and value for money.
