Martin Wright
Editor in Chief, Green Futures
Associate Director, Forum for the Future

Martin has 20 years' experience as a writer, editor and communications consultant, specialising in environmental issues and sustainable futures. He has contributed articles and photos to a wide range of national newspapers and magazines, and is a winner of the Science and Environment Journalist of the Year Award. He has written and produced documentaries for UK independent television, and broadcast on BBC and independent radio. He has travelled widely as a journalist and photographer in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He has also advised businesses and NGOs on how to communicate environmental and social justice issues effectively and with integrity.

Anna SimpsonDeputy Editor 

Anna worked in communications and development for charities KeyRing and Women's Health Concern before joining Green Futures in January 2009. She has written for Indian science and environment magazine Down To Earth and edits WENnews in her spare time. She has a first-class degree in English and French from Oxford University and an MA with distinction from SOAS.

Katie ShawEditorial and Marketing Coordinator

Having spent time working for Apex Fundación Cultural in Quito, Ecuador, Katie went on to work on a project for the Mayor of London to reduce CO2 emissions in the city through energy saving work with homeowners.  She has a degree in BA (Hons) European Studies and Spanish from The University of Manchester and a Post Graduate Diploma in European Business Management from The Manchester Business School.

Ben Tuxworth
Contributing Editor 

Now Director of Communications at Forum for the Future, Ben joined the organisation in 1998 to establish the programme of work with local government. Previous roles include five years work in environmental communications consultancy, then leading the Environment Resource and Information Centre at the University of Westminster, where he delivered advice, training and networking services to local authority sustainability personnel, and founded EG magazine, a key source of news and comment on local sustainability. His current responsibilities at the Forum include the overall management of Green Futures magazine.

Roger East
Consulting Editor

Starting out as a student of history and politics, Roger pursued a career writing, editing and publishing on international affairs. A growing focus on environmental issues and sustainable development led to his involvement with Green Futures, initially as a writer and then in an editorial role.
